The Flight of the Eagle

I love to watch the birds fly & soar high above.  Their wings give them the power to be free & pursue their journey in the air.  I drew this eagle using pastel pencils on black card stock.  I enjoy drawing birds.  What's your favorite bird?  Share your drawing here.

Rock Art

I like to pick up rocks with different shapes, sizes, & colors while I walk on nature trails.  I enjoy drawing sunsets & flowers on the rocks.  Find a few rocks during your travel, nature walks, or at the beach.  Design your rocks with your favorite colors & themes.

Words of Art

Let's get creative with words.  Write one of your favorite words in the middle of a paper.  Draw objects around the word that describe that word.   Make the drawing colorful using markers & colored pencils.

Garden Tulips

I had the opportunity to visit a local botanical gardens.  It was a perfect day for taking photos of blooming flowers.  I loved how the tulips captured the sunlight.  The yellow, orange, & green colors of this tulip were illuminated by the sun.
