Gray Shades

You can practice with watercolors, pencils, or crayons using different shades of gray.  Draw a few clouds on white paper.  Shade the clouds with light & dark gray tones.

Recycled Art

Do you have items you would normally throw away?  How can you turn those items into recycled art?  You can use paint, glue, or other supplies to create a new work of art.

Easter Art

It's a great time for bunnies, chicks, & Easter eggs.  Grab a pencil & doodle Easter themed drawings.  Add pastel colors & Spring wildflowers.

Wildflower Season

I love to see the bloom of wildflowers during the arrival of Spring.  I also enjoy pressing the flowers to use for greeting cards.  The flowers are colorful & create a natural form of art. 

Bird Songs

Do you enjoy listening to the songs of birds during a morning walk?  I do!  It's natural music with a calm harmony. Birds have a wonderful way to share their melody.

Yellow Blooms

During a walk, I saw bright yellow daffodils in bloom.  Yellow is an inspiring color to brighten a room.  You can use paint color, picture frames, or pillows to give a burst of yellow sunshine.

Craft Swap

I recently attended a craft swap at a local library.  This was a great opportunity to give art supplies no longer needed & select new supplies to work with.  I selected cardstock, markers, beads, & fabric.  It's a great way to get inspired with new creativity!
