Paper butterflies are fun to fold using the art of origami.  You can use colored or designed origami paper to fold butterflies.

Creative Circle

Draw a circle on a paper.  Fill the circle with designs, patterns, & colors.  What will you fill inside your creative circle?

Lotus Bloom

 

I drew this lotus flower using metallic markers on black cardstock.  The metallic markers give the art a colorful shine.

Tulip Watercolor Bookmark

Hand designed bookmarks add a special touch to your books.  I designed this bookmark with watercolors & added Faith with a calligraphy marker.

 

Rock Art

During your summer travels, look for rocks of various forms.  For example, while hiking, at the beach, or by the river.  Find a rock & wash it.  Let the rock dry.  Look at the form of the rock.  What do you see?  Draw your inspiration on the rock.

Beach Seashells

I love to collect seashells when visiting a beach.  Shells are perfect for drawing subjects.  They can also be placed in a bowl for a table decoration.  If you find a shell with a hole, you can add a jewelry wire or ribbon through the hole to make a necklace.

Blooming Flowers

Flowers are beginning to bloom with the bright sunshine & rain.  Which flowers do you love?  Draw the flowers on a card or in a sketchbook.
