Beach Seashells

I love to collect seashells when visiting a beach.  Shells are perfect for drawing subjects.  They can also be placed in a bowl for a table decoration.  If you find a shell with a hole, you can add a jewelry wire or ribbon through the hole to make a necklace.

Mother's Day will be here soon.  What can you draw on a card to give to your mom?  Draw a heart on the front of the card.  Write a special message within the heart.  

Gray Shades

You can practice with watercolors, pencils, or crayons using different shades of gray.  Draw a few clouds on white paper.  Shade the clouds with light & dark gray tones.
