Butterflies & Dragonflies

Do you have a favorite flying insect such as butterflies, dragonflies, or ladybugs?  Take a sheet of paper & a pencil.  Sketch your favorite summer insect during flight.

Abstract Painting

Grab any type of paint, paintbrush, & a canvas.  Paint brush strokes in any direction on the canvas.  Use different colors.  Give your art a title once you complete the abstract painting.

Wooden Coaster Art

Blank wooden coasters can be used to create an art or painting.  Draw or paint your favorite subjects on wooden coasters.  Use Mod Podge to seal.  Add felt to the bottom of the coasters.

Creative Website Content

Do you have a website or plan to build one?  Creative content writing will engage more readers for your website.  Keep the content concise, reader friendly, & choose words that capture the audience.

Ocean Waves & Sand

The warm sand, sound of ocean waves, & the song of the birds as they fly are inspiring natural elements.  How does nature inspire you?  Write your thoughts in a journal.

Collage Art

Collage art can be made as mixed media.  I like to use magazine clippings, inspirational quotes, & a color theme.  The collage can also be created as a vision board for your goals.

Calligraphy Cards

Calligraphy is a form of artistic writing.  It takes time, patience, & practice to learn.  I practiced my calligraphy on these set of cards.  I wrote my poetry with a freehand calligraphy technique.
