Are roses blooming in your yard?  Which rose colors are your favorite?  Take a sheet of paper & a pencil.  Sketch your garden rose with the leaves & stem.  Color your finished sketch.

Drawing Roses

Roses are my favorite subject to draw.  I love how the petals open to bring the rose to life.  I used ink & markers for drawing these flowers on cardstock.

Business Card Gift Tags

Do you use business cards for your business?  You can create a business card gift tag to add to your client's gift.  Punch a hole with a hole puncher towards the top of the card.  Thread a ribbon through the hole then tie the ribbon around the gift.

Bird Feathers

Do you have a favorite bird?  Use the color scheme of the bird feathers to create a palette of colors.  Use the colors to paint an inspirational piece of art.  Use different shades similar to the bird feathers to paint the artwork.

Rays of the Sun

Summer is almost here.  It's the perfect time to draw the sun.  I used crayons with three blended colors of yellow, orange, & red.  Start with a circle or a spiral then draw the rays of the sun.

Paper Folding

You can make a greeting card simply by folding any paper in half.  It can be a vertical or a horizontal fold.  Draw a design on the front then write a message inside.  You can use cardstock as an alternative for the card. 

Ocean Colors

Which shades of blue inspire you?  Use the blue shades to draw & color the ocean water.  Add fish, the sun, a few clouds, & birds to complete the artwork.
