The summer brings us an awesome opportunity to view the sun, moon, & stars.  Here's a drawing lesson to get you inspired to draw elements from our universe.

The Triangle

Triangles are great shapes to begin with to create an artwork.  Draw a triangle.   What do you see?  An ice cream cone, a pattern, a pizza slice, or a pyramid?  Sketch your design using the triangle.

I love to watch clouds transform into different shapes.  The clouds provide creative ideas for sketch work.  Take out your sketchbook this summer & watch the clouds as they move & change.  Sketch the cloud shapes as they transform.

Tea Time

It's time to take an afternoon break.  Sit back & relax with a nice cup of warm tea.  I was given the opportunity to experience Vietnamese tea from Sense Asia.  I absolutely loved their colorful tea packet design.  The simple design, clear content, & unique wishes create the experience.  The tea was wonderful & I enjoyed every sip.
