I love to receive hand written notes, cards, and letters.  It's a special moment since time has been taken to write instead of sending an email.  Take the time to write a happy note to someone whether it's for a birthday, a thank you, or just to say hello.  This would be perfect for Mother's Day.

Color Ideas

I'm often inspired by color schemes when I visit stores, cafes, or natural environments.  I like to use these color ideas in my artwork.  Take notes of colors in different places that speak to you.  Use these colors for your creative projects.

Hashtags are used on social media posts to search for specific keywords.   This makes it easier to find a post related to a keyword.   I like to use one or two hashtags for the important keywords in my post.  You can also search for topics by searching for the topic using the hashtag.

Creative Blogs

I often like to get ideas from other creative blogs.  They inspire me to think of ideas that I had never thought of.  It also gives me an opportunity to expand my creative outlet.  I like to share content from other blogs with my audience.  Find creativity from other blogs that are of your interest.  Learn new concepts that you can use for your artistic style.

Color Your Inspiration

Which color speaks to you?  Incorporate that color into your logo, product packaging, & marketing materials.   Share your design story through the color that inspires you.

Popsicle stick bookmarks are easy to make.  Take a popsicle stick & a marker.  Write your business tagline or your favorite quote.  Draw a design around the words.  Give these bookmarks as gifts or at networking events.

Magazine Puzzles

Find a nice artwork or picture in a magazine that inspires you.  Cut the artwork or picture into different shapes.  Put the shapes together to create your very own magazine art puzzle.  

Photography Angles

I like to take photos of subjects at different angles.  This gives the photo a unique dimension & character.  I find that these types of photos are great for sharing on social media sites.
